Exciting London 2012 sponsor news has been announced as Samsung unveil Victoria as part of Team Samsung.

Team Samsung athletes aim to make London 2012 everyone’s Olympic Games’

Samsung has selected top British athletes, including Victoria, who will be opening up their lives and training regimes to the public through Samsung’s Digital Hub in the run up to London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In what has been termed the first ‘social’ Games, Samsung is leveraging its position as the wireless communication equipment category sponsor to offer the British public the chance to take part by virtually experiencing every moment between now and July with its team of athletes.

As the world gets ready for this summer’s event Victoria has been chosen as one of the diverse range of athletes who form ‘Team Samsung.’ All of the team will be using Samsung technology to document their training and interact with fans throughout the build up.

Victoria said: ‘The Games will be more open with even more people able to take part than ever before due to the huge advances in technology and initiatives companies like Samsung have introduced to help athletes keep in touch with their fans. And you don’t need to be a technology expert, it’s simple and anyone can take part.”
